As the Coronavirus lockdown is eased, it is expected that at least 6 persons will be able to meet indoors by the time we get to the third Tuesday in May and assuming that is the case, our lodge is considering the installation of our new Worshipful Master who should have been installed in March which clearly, was not possible. Should this Installation Meeting be able to proceed, then it is proposed that a quorum sufficient to Install be convened, our Worshipful Master installed, the meeting concluded, and the Officers of the Lodge would be installed at our September meeting where we should be able to have a ‘full house’, first return of the Lodge post-COVID to normal meetings, and thereby allowing every Mason to remain in the Lodge room throughout the meeting as the officers are installed. Followed by one very joyous and ‘celebratious’ Festive Board!
The above may be subject to change and on our being able to comply with any COVID restrictions in place.
There would be no Festive Board at this Installation Meeting and those Officers required at this meeting will be notified and summoned on behalf of our current Master, by the Secretary directly.
